Preposition position in questions

I would like to know what is position of prepositions in questions, I need it immediately. Plese help.

Prepositions are normally at the head of a prepositional phrase. In questions, they can come at the end of the sentence: What state is Washington DC in ? Who did you get that sweater from ?

Prepositions are normally at the head of a prepositional phrase.

In questions, they can come at the end of the sentence:

What state is Washington DC in?
Who did you get that sweater from? (Formal: From whom did you get that sweater?)
Where did Julian come

Which questions? The preopsition doesn't have a set place, it could before the question word like 'at what time......', it could be at the end 'when did you get in?' It could be in the middle 'what's under that cover?' Or you could have more than one 'At what time, did you get in last night, after your night out?
