Edward: The verb accuse is most often followed by "of" + noun. This pattern is so frequent that "accuse of" can be considered a phrasal verb. The object of the proposition "of" is often a gerund, showing the activity.

hi,

I have also a question about the gerund. Why it uses ing verb after the noun instead of using to infinitive in the following sentence? i.e. we can help people to find their next jobs.

"We cannot always prevent people losing their jobs but we can help people finding their next jobs."

thank you
edward
