Preposition missing please correct this

I received comments below from customer and seems preposition missing before the noun, is this acceptable? Can I have your advice on this?

From customer: I hope what I have done so far will help John complete his work

My style: I hope what I have done so far will help to john to complete his work.

Top answer

hasvi I hope what I have done so far will help John complete his work The original is good. There is no missing preposition, but there is missing punctuation at the end.
