Preposition fronting a wh-question

Is it grammatical to have

About what were you talking?

Instead of

What were you talking about?

OR In what class are you?

Instead of

What class are you in?

Prepositions infront of their objects is fine. When 'what' is a fused relative pronoun, the preposition cannot front 'what'. What about when 'what' is used as above?

Thanks
