preposition for YEAR

Is it incorrect to say: 'On this school year, the students..' ?
Or would it be more correct to say; 'This school year, the students...
Or: In this school year, the students...

Is it incorrect to say: 'On this school year, the students..' ? Yes.
Choose one of the following:

'This school year, the students will study....'

'In this school year,...'

'During this school year,..'

The first of the above is preferable in most cas
