Preposition 'for' required?

Is 'for' required after 'feedback' in this sentence?:

Please note that the next round for you to re-look at those issues which you have given feedback has been planned for next Wed.

Top answer

You have been given feedback for those issues, so yes, you need 'for'. I would use "take another look" instead of "re-look". There is also something wrong with the overall structure of your sentence.

  • I can't work out exactly what the structure is.
  • "the next round for you to re-look" is grammatically faulty, but I don't see what you're trying to say there.

Yes. Or perhaps 'about'.

Overall, it's not a well-written sentence.
It also needs to be part of a context in which it makes sense.

Thank you for your replies. The context is that we are rolling out a new software application. The users have done the first round of user acceptance testing with a test script which lists the itemised steps they are to perform and indicate whether the system gives the expected results. The second round is planned for next Wednesday. (The terms 'Round 1' and 'Round 2' are familiar with the users a

It's virtually the same as the first sentence you offered for discussion, though it's a bit clearer. I still think it's too front-loaded, though, i.e., it has too much subject.
