Preposition before the name of the inventor

Dear all,

I am searching for the correct preposition to be used in situations when the name of the author comes after his invention, for example:

Oxigen Multi-step Therapy according to Prof. von Ardenne.

Is "according to" the best option here?

I think it depends on what the full sentence is. The possessive is often used here ...
