preposition at vs. in

Would these be correct? ;
-a student 'at' the back of the class.
-a student 'at' the corner of the class.
-a person 'in' the back of the car. (not 'at' the back of the car)

you mean the sentence with out a thump- up incorrect, right?

I think it has to be -a student at the corner of the classroom. (because it's "the person is taking up very small portion of the whole closed space.)
