Preposition at the biggening of sentences

Hi!

Please help my grammer.
Could a preposition be put at the biggening of sentences like this?

For the operation on the machine, a routine inventory collection (regular inventory for evry 2 hours) has been carried out before and after the problem broke out.

Please correct any mistakes above the line.

Thank you for your help.

I will put it at the end of the sentence.

The term "routine inventory collection" is not a specific wording. I will put them as " a function of regular inventory information collection".
