Preposition after verb 'order'

Hello,

Is it correct to use "I ordered for lemonade"? I know that the prevalent use is "I ordered lemonade". Still.

No. I ordered Lemonade is correct.

There are certain verbs after which no preposition is placed. Order is one of them. Even verbs like request, reach, attack, accompany, resemble, etc fall in this category.

Example: "Our forces attacked on the enemy fort" is wrong.

"Our forces attacked the enemy fort" is correct.
