Preposition

Hello everyone.

What is the proper preposition for Christmas holidays/vacation?

In our culture , we have Norooz (Nowruz)

which is to some extent equivalent to Christmas.

I don't know what the suitable preposition is for Norooz holidays/vacations.

We say at Christmas, but in Christmas holidays, is there any special rule?

US answer: Christmas is a single day, and we say "on" Christmas accordingly. The season is Christmastime, and we say "at", "during" or "around" Christmastime according to what we mean.

It's the new year for Persians and other ethnic Iranian groups. In the UK, you can talk about something happening at new year.
