Preposition

Which is correct:



a) "Keep that poor animal in the barn, AMONG the hay."


Or


b) "Keep that poor animal in the barn, WITHIN the hay."



Note: By this, I mean to keep the animal in such conditions, so that he can become (and stay) warm.
