Which is correct:
a) "For the purpose of application TO that position, I submit my c.v."
Or b) "For the purpose of application FOR that position, I submit my c.v."

But it sounds very stiff and undynamic to say that at the beginning of a n application letter. You should certainly say what position you are applying for, but after that you should focus on the highligts of your skills and how well they match the requirements of the new job.. Only towards the end should you mention that your CV is attached.
