Please tell me if these are OK.

There are some kinds of films on 1) at the cinema. If you want to 2) enjoy fun you can choose a comedy or a western. If you enjoy special effects and are interested in the ideas 3) of future you can see a science fiction or an adventure film.

OK. The alternative is "playing at.."

If you want to 2) have fun you can choose a comedy or a western.

If you enjoy special effects and are interested in the ideas 3) about the future you can see a science fiction or an adventure film.

I thought of have but since the children were only watching a movie and not taking part in any activity I decided to use enjoy meaning to experience (here fun) with joy.

I think what you want to stress is the idea of 'difference'.
eg There are various kinds of films on at the cinema.
