Hi
Please tell me if these are fine.

1. We walked straight and turned to the first street to/at the left.

2. We went straight and took left.

1. We walked straight and ( then ) turned into the first street on / to the left. "at the left" is not completely impossible but seems less usual to me.

1. We walked straight and (then) turned into the first street on/to the left.

"at the left" is not completely impossible but seems less usual to me.

"turned into" means that you turned and then walked along the street. I'm guessing that's what you intend. "turned to" is not impossible but would mean that you turned to look at or examine the street, or
