Could I ask several questions please?

Are both sentences below grammatical?

If yes, then what's the differences between them?

The man in a cap is John.

The man with a cap is John.

If I wanna say " The girl who is wearing a scarf is Jane," which sentences below has the same meaning?

The girl with a scarf is Jane.

The girl in a scar is Jane.

Question 3:

If I wanna say " The girl who is wearing earrings is Jane," which sentences below has the same meaning?

Is the prepositons used below correct?

The girl with earrings is Jane.

The girl in earrings is Jane. --Question 4: If we replace earrings with "a watch," then what preposition should I use?
