Preposition

Hi.

I have two questions concerning the use of prepositions.

First, Can we use the preposition to for reach or not?

Ex. The amount reaches to 10kg.

Second, is it possible to use with as a preposition for similar instead of to?

Ex. your car is similar with mine.

You wouldn't use to. You would just say the amount reaches 10 kg. But I also wouldn't use the word amount with 10 kg, I would use the word weight.

You wouldn't use to. You would just say the amount reaches 10 kg. But I also wouldn't use the word amount with 10 kg, I would use the word weight. The weight reached/reaches 10 kg.

We don't replace 'to' with the word 'with'.

Reach can be followed by an infinitive.
