Preposition

Please check if the prepositions in the following sentences are used correctly-
The man is greedy for gain.
He proved false of his friend.
he has a passion for arguing.
he is vexed to me.
he is deficient of common sense. 
he is prompt to carrying out orders.
he is innocent of the crime.
I exchanged with him my mobile for a watch.
I inquired of the servant if his master was at home.

he is deficient in common sense.
he is prompt in carrying out order.

If these are wrong,please do correct them for me.
