Preposition

ex. A ship is moving on the sea.
ex. The boy is floating on the sea.
ex. The boy is swimming on the sea.(on the surface of the sea)
ex. The boy is swimming in the sea. (he is not in the surface of the sea)

ex. The boy is diving in the sea.

I am not sure indeed wheter I am right or wrong.
