Grammar

preposition

The committee is planning on replacing the current system of responding to customer complaints.

Can I change the word "of" to "for" here?

Or if I can change "of responding to customer complaints" to "to respond to customer complaints"?

Please advise.

You can use "of" or "for", but not "to". (if the system deals with customer complaints) If the system is being changed because of the complaints, but the system is about something else, "to" is fine.
