Hi,

Is there any difference between the two answers below?

She arrived ............ England yesterday.

a) in

b) to

My guess is that both are ok but "a" is the better one, but don't know why. Is there any difference between them?

The use of to with arrive is wrong.

you can either say arrive at or arrive in.

Use in for big places like when you enter a city or a country and use at for other places.

Ex. I arrived in England

Ex. I arrived at the station.
