Preparatopm brief
Our recruitment process for a fresher include two parts: aptitude tests and personal interviews. Users have to log on to our testing platform -Zoho Challange. Zoho Challange was hosted on a Windows server. The candidates were all seated and going through the regular test preparation brief. Everything was supposed to go as planned. Boom, the server crashed and our teaching application went down with it. After all the pep talk about the productivity and efficiency, it was a real embarassment to go back and say that the server crashed and everyone had to wait till we resolved the situation.

For some reason they have given a name to the platform; it is Zoho Challenge.
For some reason they have given a name to the Server; it is Boom.
I am not comfortable with the following sentence of the above.
The candidates were all seated and going through the regular test preparation brief.
Is it correct to write 'preparation brief''?
You can have a brief preparation. For me, to say test brief preparation brief sounds odd.
You could say 'brief test preparation'.
