Is the following sentence acceptable?

The fear of insomnia:Some people believe that they should get a certain amount of sleep, and they assume that if they don't get that amount, they must have insomnia. In this case, they really have insomnia.

No, my previous answer is not to the point. It should be one of the reasons that cause insomnia. It means if you fear you have insomnia, then you will get it.
