Well, for example, a manager might have a prejudice/be prejudiced against women (think they are less intelligent etc... than men), and will prefer to hire a man while he could get a woman more qualified for the job.

Does this explain "prejudice"? There are many prejudices running around these days, most based on race or skin colour... But since I'm a woman, I chose this example
