Grammar

Prefer basketball to soccer.

0Hi,02br
02br
00I am just wondering whether native speakers use "prefer sth to sth" very often.02br
02br
00I have been using "rather" or "more" expressions and until today I didn't even know that you could say "I prefer to play soccer to play basketball" instead of "I'd rather play soccer than basketball" or"I like soccer more than basketball".02br
02br
00Please help.02br
02br
00Thanks in advance.0-
