Predicative Adjectives

Are the adjectives "alarmed" and "aroused" predicative?

Someone mentioned almost all adjectives starting with a prefix a- are predicative.

Would one be able to say:

He is a very alarmed human being.

He looked at the aroused tyrants and jolted in the other direction.

In the future, how can I tell if the adjective is predicative?

Thanks.
