Predicates

Have I located the predicate(s) properly in the following sentences? I just need to find either the simple or compound predicates, not the complete predicates.

1. Quinn should have selected an alternate category. (SP = have selected)

2. The production manager has recommended more efficient techniques. (SP = has recommended)

3. Dave had never swum in Lake Dawson until Kelly encouraged him to do so. (CP = swum, encouraged) (Or is it "had swum" and "encouraged"?)

4. Have you recorded your goals as the supervisor suggested? (CP = recorded, suggested) (Correct, or would it be "have recorded" and suggested? I seem to be having problems locating the simple subjects and predicates in inverted sentences.)

5. He seemed very irritated by your response. (SP = seemed)
