Predicate Adjectives and Nouns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am new to Predicate and diagramming sentences. But our teacher gave us some homework on it and I am confused on how to diagram these sentences.

The car is very fast.

Henrietta is a Girl Scout and a hospital volunteer.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a composer.

In July the days are usually hot.

Anyone of them that you know would be so helpful!

I love old-fashioned diagramming (it is no longer taught in most American schools). But I don't have the computer skills (or software) to write the actual diagrams. Until a smarter person than I (am) answers you, may I try my best?

Now may I try No. 4? days - are - hot. "the" under "days"; "in July" under "are"; "usually" under "are." WHEN are they hot? in July; How often ARE they hot? usually. (P.S. I THINK (!) your teacher wants "in July" to modify the verb; university professors might say it modifies the whole sentence; I THINK "usually" modifies "are," not "hot." "Usually" says how often, not to what degree (as "very"
