precise date for when

How would I have to turn the sentence so it is correct?
Could you give me a precise date for when you want to take the exam?

Thanks

If you want shorter, eg When exactly do you want to take the exam?

I wasn't trying for the shortest possible sentence. I was trying to make the underlined part more efficient.

I agree that the original is acceptable, but I would prefer Could you give me a precise date on which you want to take the exam? My second choice would be Could you give me a precise date [that] you want to take the exam on?
