If you mean to include the teacher among the friends, yes. If you see the teachers and friends as separate catagories, then omit the "other." - A.

This doesn't really track for me. Are we talking about the teachers friends of about "her" friends?
Try "She praised the kindness of the teachers and her other friends." or
"She praised the kindness of the teachers and their friends."
