Practicing exclamations?

I'm practicing exclamations. Please check my practicing on some sentences.

[1] What a beautiful house it is!
-> How beautiful this house is! ( correct?)

[2] How he wished he had been there!
-> What a wishful he had been there! ( I'm not sure whether this is right, could you change the origin sentence with "what" for my study?)

Thank you for your teaching in advance.
