Practice

Are both of these correct? What do they mean? I can't tell the difference when I use 'is' vs' are'.

1. Practice, practice, and more practice is necessary to create better balance in your swing.

2. Practice, practice, and more practice are necessary to create better balance in your swing.

Thanks.

'and' means there are two things. Irrespective of the fact that advice is a singular noun, my vote goes to the second sentence.
