Vocabulary

practical work/internship

Hi,

I'm not sure which word fits the best in the context. Can you please help me out?

One of these sources was availbable to the author of this paper during her stay in a big foreign bank for practical work/training.

Should I try with the 'internship', or does it work only in medicine?

Thank you

No sure I get it all but how about "The author of this paper had one of these sources at her disposal during her training period in a big foreign bank".
