Sorry. I thought it was a well-known term.
I heard on CNN, CT scan may cause cancer and the reporter asked what a patient can do to prevent that and somehow this term came up. I wasn't paying attention so I don't know how the reporter related it to CT scan.

The only thing I can find on Google is 'power patient lift', a device that lifts patients (such as in a wheelchair) by power rather than by manual operation.
