Power of attorney

Hi,

When somebody gives me written permission to sign a document on their behalf, what is it called?

I found ‘power of attorney’ but I’m not sure.

Thank you.

Ann225 When somebody gives me written permission to sign a document on their behalf, what is it called? You're an authorised signatory . 'Power of Attorney' has a lot more far-reaching legal implications than signing documents.
