Power in God

Hi. What does the word "power" mean in this sentence? Does it mean "energy" of some kind or perhaps "control"? Thank you in advance.

There is power in God.

Hi, It could mean either. Or even both. I'd say 'strength' rather than 'energy'.

In all nine definitions of 'power' in my dictionary there is only one mention of energy, and that is in reference to electricity. I don't think this is about ***'s being a source of electricity.
