Pounds of

Hi.
What's the difference between 'pounds of chocolate' and 'some kilograms of chocolate' or maybe 'several kilograms of chocolate'?

Thanks in advance

I know 'a pond' is 454 grams, but woder if 'pounds of' has any idiomatic meaning, since the authour said 'juice[..] is healthier than pounds of chocolate!'(npt the '!')

An expression like eg 'I ate pounds of chocolate last night' usually just means 'a lot of chocolate'.
