Potential customer segments

Can you please explain segments in other words? Thanks a lot

What you're trying to do with customer discovery is to answer a set of questions about: who the customer is, what the problem is, what potential solutions might solve their problems, and not are you doing that for potential customer segments. You're also doing that for potential partners trying to understand pricing.

Top answer

It should be "and not only are you doing that for potential customer segments". I think it probably means groups of potential customers who share certain characteristics.
