Postcard

Hello,

Can you please tell me what preposition I should use in this sentence?

"I've received a nice postcard of/with/from the Old Town"

Is it possible to replace a preposition with a word such as "showing"?

Thank you

Hotmale "I've received a nice postcard of/with/from the Old Town" I've received a nice postcard of the Old Town - the sentence means that you received a postcard showing the Old Town. I've received a nice postcard with the Old Town - I don't like this sentence as it is. It's incomplete.

  • Did you receive a postcard and the Old Town?
  • Or a postcard with the Old Town on it ?
