Tourism and hospitality industry provides a wide range of opportunities in the career field. According to TNS(2010) statistics tourism industry will grow and develop fast worldwide. This factor will provide a good chance to professional growth and successful career.
Graduation at XXX will give a solid base of both theoretically and practically skills, which will lead to international career. As being one of the fast growing economy in the market, it would be a good experience to work in Asia as a start. I am considering occupy a post at some hotel chain in China, where my language knowledge skills will be quite beneficial. However, as to say about the position, work in every department will lead to good foundation of the career.
I think that the interest of new and unusual destinations among tourists will grow in the future and Russia will be on the top list, as provides a wide range of tourist destinations from beaches resort to extreme tourism for example. Year after year tourism in Russian Federation has rapid growth but it still needed to attract foreigner tourists more, even inner tourism rates stay low. By having enough work experience in hotel management, I am planning to open my own hotel branch in Russia. However, my final goal is not to open my own hotel or restaurant, my duty is to develop travel and tourism in my country. We should say about obviously lack of Russia’s travel and tourism infrastructure and it has to be developed. Upon infrastructure improvements will be provided by the government, we can level up inbound and outbound tourism in Russia. The hospitality industry needs a high requirement organization, which must be provided by appropriate service conditions. This reason stimulated me to choose a tourism and hospitality as a career path.
I believe that studying at XXX will be a strong foundation base, for a future interesting and successful career, which will lead to a new aim, new goal and new achievement.
