Possibility vs. probability

What is the difference between "probability" and "possibility" from a grammatical point of view and which verbs should I use? Thank you.

Probability is associated with an (assumed) numerical value. e.g. According to the statistics from South Africa, the probability of being hospitalized if you contract the Omicron strain of COVID-19 is lower than with the original virus.

Possibility is more subjective. If you contract contract the Omicron strain of COVID-19, you still have the possibility of hospitalization
