Possessive usage
His TV and stereo were in good condition. (1)
His TV and his stereo were in good condition. (2)
In these cases, must we repeat his, as I've done in (2)? When we mention two or more objects belonging to the same person, I am assuming we don't have to repeat the personal pronoun?
