possessive s

Hi all,

Regarding "possessive s", I usually follow the following rule: use 's with animate objects, organization,/company/club/etc and days. Is this rule correct?

Thanks

Best wishes

Thank you very much.

Just to make the rule clearer I will use 's with animate objects, organization/club/company/country (i.e. any thing that have animate objects) and dates. However, I wont use 's with anything else (e.g. chair leg, book cover, etc).

Best wishes
