Possessive pronouns.

I have explained below the use of possessive pronouns.I am confused about the last part of my statement Please rewrite my statement if it is not explained correctly.

Possessive pronoun "Mine" is used to show something that belongs to you. ."Yours" is used to show something that belongs to someone else. "Ours" is used to show something that belongs to you and others.
