Possessive of a Company Name that is otherwise plural

The word shoppes is plural. When shoppes is used as part of a company name (e.g. Charming Shoppes) is this name now singular (I believe the American English typically treats any company name as singular). Taking it one step further, if Charming Shoppes is now singular, how do you form the possessive? Is it Charming Shoppes's, Charming Shoppes', or could you make a case for either depending on which grammar book is your reference.
