In the sentence "I bought Susan croceries", "Susan" is apparently the indirect object.
If I now changed the sentence into:
"I bought Susan´s croceries", I obviously turned the simple noun "Susan" into a possessive noun.
I have two questions about this:
1. Can the possessive noun "Susan´s" still be considered an indirect object? And
2. if not, how does it have to be analyzed?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
