Possessive cases

Hello, could you help me with this?

1) Harry´s , Ron´s and Hermione´s mission was..... Do we have to place/say ´s with each of the names? It is their mission. But my doubt is that if I only add it to the last one, someone could misunderstand.

2) Is it ok to say "Many of Harry´s friends....."

Thank you very much.

It all depends on how you look at it. Is there just ONE mission or do the three people in question each have a different mission? ' If, on the other other hand, each of them have different missions; Harry's mission is the South Pole, Ron's the North and Hermione's is Mars, then: Harry's, Ron's and Hermione's missions WERE quite different.

Thank you both for answering.

It refers to only one mission for the three, so I do not have to put the ´s to each of the names, but to the last one. Am I correct?

Thanks
