Possessive apostrophe on company name before "global assets"

Hello,

I can't make a choice between the beginning of these two sentences. Which one is grammatically correct? (company name changed)

Alcoa's global assets, including 400 engineers, support the Chinese operations.

Alcoa global assets, including 400 engineers, support the Chinese operations.

(If it was "The company's global assets", I wouldn't have a doubt, but with a company name, it seems awkward.)

Thanks a lot!

Hello, François. It does not seem awkward at all to me. We commonly use the Anglo-Saxon genitive for companies as sentient entities: Alcoa's global assets, including 400 engineers, support the Chinese operations.
