Possession term's

Hi , I am trying to make fun with a sentence to see whether they are different or not.

"She is the mother of the boy who lives next door."
Can it be re-written into
"She is the boy's mother who lives next door."

She is the mother of the boy who lives next door specifies that the boy lives next door (to me is implied unless the context specifically indicates otherwise).
She is the boy's mother, who lives next door implies that the boy's mother lives next door to someone, but is vague about whether it is the speaker or the boy. It is
