Possesive S

Is it right to say Admin' Signature? Since the secind word starts with S, tbus there is no need to double the s.

Top answer

In speech, the two "s" sounds might run together somewhat, or not be distinctly sounded. However, you are still saying "admin's signature" not "admin' signature". In writing, the possessive "s" cannot be omitted.
